Study casually the night before with wolfawoo.
Wake up, shower, blow dry hair.
Sit down and look over quotes needed for the last essay.
Slowly realize that I am actually taking this exam in an hour.
Consider refusing breakfast, eat it anyway.
Packs bag, grabs bag of almonds, and carpools with friend.
Feel the anxiety setting in on the drive over.
Arrive, reach building, stop friend and make her tell me we'll be fine.
Get reassured, walk into exam room, realize we're the second to last to arrive.
Shamefully take our seats.
Discuss what might be on the test.
STEAL PENCILS BECAUSE MINE AREN'T SHARPENED.
Laugh as the last kid comes in. Apologize for laughing.
Start first part of exam, freaking throughout.
Finish first part of exam, high five companion beside me.
Flee room for a short break, promising not to discuss the exam.
DISCUSS THE EXAM.
LAUGH AT THE PUNNY FROG QUOTE FROM THE LAST POEM ANALYSIS.
Go back inside and talk to exam supervisor.
Realize I forgot to eat during break.
Hastily nom almonds as everyone returns to room.
Anxiety resets as the essay section is distributed.
Told to begin essay section.
Open booklet.
Hear someone happily exclaim that the first essay is a short poem analysis.
Hear the exam supervisor tell him to 'SHUT. UP.'
Literally freeze, freak out, tell myself I can't do it.
Look up to see our Harvard bound classmate casually start him.
Curse him. Out loud. By accident.
Get awkward looks.
Pulls self together and begins first essay.
Starts and finishes second essay.
Worries about the essay that needed a ton of books memorized.
Turns to it, realizes I GOT THIS.
Writes the final essay with much confidence.
Happily finishes, with 45 seconds to spare.
Turns around to see my other classmate throw his pencil down, showing ULTIMATE SUCCESS.
Turns in exam.
Told, once more, NOT to discuss the essays.
Leave exam room.
DISCUSS THE ESSAYS.
Invite people out to lunch.
Ends up just going to lunch with carpool buddy.
Pee. Because I hadn't all morning.
EAT AWESOME GREEK SALADS AT THIS PLACE.
Consider going back to school to talk to our AP teacher about our exams.
Go anyway, only to find him playing Mortal Combat in an empty classroom.
Judge. Profusely.
Talk to him. Then talk to my other favorite teacher.
Consider getting ice cream.
Decide we ate enough.
Go home.


THEN I BAKED AND WALKED AND LISTENED TO MUSIC AND SLEPT.
All in all, a decent day.
